Nothing fancy but it is clean, breakfast is ok and the location is stunning to get a feel of the old quarter! We had a room overlooking the main street, no problem with the noise, double glazing was good!

We stayed at the Quoc Hoa for three nights in October 2011, between trips to Ha Long Bay and Sapa. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and offered a delightful view of the pulsing street life of Hanoi from the balcony. The food, served on the top floor with a panoramic view... More

We stayed here for two nights in April and found it to be a good location for the most important/interesting of Hanoi's attractions. We thought the staff were great - really attentive and helpful. For instance, we arrived at the hotel at about 0900, having landed at the airport earlier that morning. Our room wasn't ready - not surprisingly -... More

Solid hotel with great beds, rooms and okay service. But above all, realt great placement in the old quarter, right on a busy street, but still has fairly quiet rooms. Great value for money.

We sayed for seven nights on our recent trip, the staff were the best we encounted on our trip. Our room was clean and quiet. Ample hot water for showers etc. Breakfast could use a bit of variety and was cold some mornings, but the view from the restaraunt was great. The hotel organised our airport pick up and drop... More

This older style small hotel was favourably mentioned in an online Vietnam guide and we found it was a good choice. Our taxi from the airport seemed unsure of the location but negotiated the one way streets to get us there. Located in the atmospheric and busy Old Quarter and only a short walk to the Hoan Kiem lake, markets,... More

We stayed for 5 nights at Quoc Hoa hotel last summer. What I like best of this hotel was the friendly staff who made us feel like home. The room was particularly clean and well decored. We stayed in Hanoi for a week in this hotel located in the Old Quarter. The room was very well designed with everything in the right place and enough space to feel comfortable. We felt at home and appreciated the respite from the hectic pace of Hanoi just prior to Tet. The staff were friendly and helpful.

good location close to everything but very noisy street where traffic raced up and down tooting all night. Many places in vietnam are likr this tho. Our room was quite dark with only basic facilities but was classed as deluxe. Breakfast was mix of european and vietnamese and not a huge vriety. The Gym was laughable, very ancient equipment. Staff... More

This small boutique hotel is situated in the old quarter of Hanoi which makes its position ideal for seeing all the most popular sites. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly and efficient. Breakfast is adequate enough, offering Eastern and Vietnamese dishes. The 'gym' needs updating and the steam room and jacuzzi was not functioning. Perfectly adequate for a base whilst... More
