We chose this hotel because of its location, we thought it was close to the National Convention Centre but it wasn't, in fact very few taxi drivers even knew where the Centre was. The hotel's web site gave the impression of a beautiful French Colonial style hotel with many facilities, the reality was a faded building which was crumbling and... more

I stayed at the Asean for three weeks during Novemeber whilst working in VietNam. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful, food is fine, laundry was returned within the day, speedy room service. Front rooms have very effective double glazing which minimises street noise and the rooms are solidly built so that there is no room- to -room noise. The... more
