Stayed at the Nikko Hanoi for three days. Location is maybe 15-20mins away from the old quarter. Hotel a bit worn but clean, food was average and the staff was friendly. The beds were very firm, you got 10mins of free wifi, time spent over that was at a cost.

Modern hotel a bit removed from the old quarter and other sites. Staff was exceptional! Breakfast was ok... But not outstanding. Beds were VERY firm... For those who like a softer mattress you will be disappointed.

Struggle to see what is 5 star in this place other than the Japanese style electric toilet. Bed is comfy, but the hotel is showing its age & generally nothing special at all. Most irritatingly the wifi isn't free

clean hotel and upkeeping with the japanese standards. i found it annoying that if you used part of the free bottled water that they would throw it away and just replace with a new bottle instead of leaving the partially used bottle of water there and just adding new bottles to it. i guess i am used to US hotels... (1) The breakfast is mediocre: No flavor in anything, and the tropical fruit isn't ripe. (2) Many of the rooms have a 180 degree panoramic view of the city. However, that means you also overlook neon signs and flourescent lights, including the neon sign of the circus directly across the street from the hotel entrance. (3) The hotel caters to... More

Stayed here on business, nice rooms, not so great location. Clearly aimed at Japanese clientelle, but not overly so. Service, cleanliness, room size and facilities are what you'd expect for this class of hotel though it's more aimed at the business traveller. Gym is a little on the small side and not especially well equipped. One gripe - turned up... More

The location is not ideal for travelling as it is not centrally located, and restaurants, shops are also not withing walkable distance. The rooms are standard of Nikko, neat, clean, comfortable.
