Stayed there two days but did not enjoy it at all. Although we were told we are given amazing large room with view, we found the furniture old, airconditioning not working and toilet door fell off on the second day! :) It was cold, damp and smelly. Asked for a heater, but it did not work either. Staff is a... More

We stayed 3 nights in one of the dorms. Paid 5USD each. The price is okay for the location, but it does not include anything. We could not refill our water with the fountain although it was for everyone. They told us internet was free for customers, but one day we spent 30min on one of the computers, and one... More

A group of four of us stayed at this hotel in late January 2013. We had been staying on this street for a few days prior a tour and came back because of it's position. They offered us very cheap rooms and they were clean with four beds. The bathroom doesn't have an extractor fan so all the damp air... More

Stayed here in feb 2013. Was an ok hostel/hotel, didn't have any problem with the staff- though they were rather pushy in selling us trips to Halong bay etc- though it is alot cheaper to book outside of the hotel. The room was very damp and the bathroom was very smelly , the bed mattress was very hard too. Clean... More

The hotel is very run down, rooms are very damp and cold. Had to sleep wrapped up for winter in my sleeping bag liner. One of the men who worked on reception was extremely aggressive and me and my friend felt very vulnerable, he didn't see anything wrong in man handling a woman! My case was slashed whilst out on... We stayed here for a few nights. It is not wonderful, it was rather basic, but the tv worked and wifi was useful. And while the place and the rooms were a little run down (as are a lot of places in Vietnam) they were functional and clean. No signs of pests at all. After all it was just a... More

The price was ok similar to other places in this street.... Staff were quite rude from time to time.. Sometimes nice a lot of the time not... With bad manners n forgetting that we actually pay to stay there for a whole week actually....... Breakfast was no options n the all day coffee as promised finished at 10 am... Our... More

We stayed here for two nights, one before and one after our halong bay cruise. We had originally wanted to stay at the backpackers hostel but it was more than we wanted to pay. This place was just a few shops down and only $10 a night. Our room was pretty good although the shower didn't work that well. Only... More

I was told by the staff that they can't bring my motorbike inside at nighttime because they have a young child sleeping downstairs, and they don't want the oil fumes breathed in. Fair enough, you can't argue with this! However, I was quite surprised to see the staff motorbikes parked inside that evening! Umm, seems suspicious? Why was I told... More

Nice room, clean, lots of space, the staff is very nice and helpful, they help you to prepare your trip, good prices. The breakfast is simple but very good. We are happy, because we had what we paid. We had a great time in Hanoi, Halong Bay and Sapa! Thank you very much!
