This hotel perfect for the budget traveller: it's cheap, clean and in an excellent location. My room does not have any windows but the bed is comfy ad the bathroom is clean. There are 2 computer systems downstairs at the lobby which you are free to use. Staff was friendly and helpful. The staff at check in speak good English.... More

Used this hotel as a base for a few weeks in Northern Vietnam. Booked various tours through hotel & this proved very helpful as we could make much needed use of a room to freshen up etc. great value & location is unbeatable. Brekkie v good also. Only down side was the hotel they use for Sapa tour. Royal view... More

The hotel is located very close to the Hoan Kiem Lake(< 5 mins walk), plenty of restaurants and cafes within the vicinity. As there were 4 travelers in my group, we were given connecting rooms which was great. The window of 601 faces the busy street below and we could people-watch while sipping on coffee provided by the hotel. The... More

Stayed in a triple room, located in the middle hence had a window which looked out to the narrow corridor. Room was quite small just enough space to move around after arranging our luggage but otherwise quiet for a good nite's sleep as didn't hear any traffic noise. The hotel serves a complimentary night cap every night for guests in... More

Location is excellent, staff are super friendly and very helpful. Didn't try the breakfast (which was included) so can't review. We stayed here twice (to and from Halong Bay) and the location alone is a reason to go there. Would however recommend going for one of the higher quality rooms and make sure you check things like the bath operation... More

I usually stay at the Sheraton due, mainly because it's paid for by my company, but decided to try a boutique hotel. I was very glad I did. The service was the main difference since the rooms were nice and clean without being overly extravagant. I plan to try the Amanda hotel the next time I'm back in Hanoi.

Amanda hotel became a home for us for our last night in Vietnam. We had many options and according to different reviews chose this hotel as a last and farewell place in Hanoi. And we didn’t miss! First of all the service – it is very good. Concierge met us on the opposite side of the road, helped with the... More

Located in Hang Be Street, close to shopping, restaurant, tour shop and 3 minute to walk to Hoan Kien Lake! The great location. Right in the center of the old quarter and walking distance to many eateries and shopping places. Room are always clean. Staff is quite friendly. Taxis are easily available at hotel door. The breakfast buffet was extensive... More

I stayed here for a couple of nights with my very discerning wife and she was pleased with the hotel. As she likes to be a bit lazy while travelling, she missed the breakfast, which was definitely the low point of the stay. Cold food, warm juice, pre-cooked fired eggs, etc. Plain terrible. Good points were the very helpful staff,... More

The staff were extremely helpful, polite and could do enough for us (booking flight, taxis, tours ect) The Manger deserves 11 out of 10, most courteous, polite and helpful, and these high standards are followed by this subordinates. Rooms are clean, spacious, and well maintained, breakfast is includes in the rate. We will be recommending Amanda Hotel to all of... More
