Stayed here upon arriving in Vietnam and was pleased we'd chosen to stay at the MGallery. Hanoi was a bit of a shock to the senses, and this hotel was a great retreat from the heat and the noise especially when trying to get over our jetlag. We dined in the restaurant and had cocktails in the main bar and... More

This hotel came recommended as a cheaper, younger alternative to the Metropole across the street but after 4 nights we wished we'd spent the extra money and stayed at the Sofitel. The room was large and well appointed but being inward facing was dark and had no view. The staff however were good and the concierge was excellent when organising... More

A boutique-type hotel near the famous Opera House, this is a delight to the eyes. The atrium café is beautiful and service flawless. The rooms are a nice size with very pretty bathroom floors and fabulous showers. Not too crazy about the lobby but the bar is fun. Great location with great staff working here who spent extra time making... More

Great hotel with classic decoration, lovely rooms, and big comfy beds. The suites are especially nice. Only complaint is that many rooms face the noisy street, and while the windows are good, they are not good enough to keep out the noise of Hanoi in the morning. I suspect this is true of most downtown hotels.

It's difficult to rate this hotel as some aspects are good and others aren't plus we stayed in an amazing hotel prior as part of our Asia trip - anyhow, here we go: I chose this hotel mainly because it was recommended in Conde Nast Traveller as a contemporary option in Hanoi. On the website it also looked quite cool.... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in the middle of April 2013, at the start of our Vietnam tour; a wonderful and cheerful gem of a place which I would whole-heartedly recommend; staff was professional and accommodating (kindly allowed us to deposit our baggage following our return from Sapa and use the hotel facilities until the time for our departure flight... We stayed in a quiet deluxe king room overlooking the atrium - a delightful covered space that replicates a peaceful early European street and is used for 'al fresco' dining and cocktails. The rooms are funky in design yet elegant and beautifully appointed and decorated. Great to enjoy something very different and unique compared to many top hotels we've stayed... More

Certainly a lovely hotel inside and out. This is very different from the usual international luxury brand names like Sheraton or Hilton etc, definitely more cosy with a very distinct design and decor edge. It's well situated in a rather fancy district surrounded by brand name boutiques and shopping, away from the more crowded hustle and bustle of the old... More

The hotel has a beautiful, ostentatious design style, making it stand out from other 5 star hotels. We were given welcome drinks, on check in, and this should be practised at all other 5 star hotels. The room was of a good size and had separate dressing room and bathroom. Furnishings were of high quality. The free in-room wifi was... More

This is really a luxurious boutique hotel in the true sense -- medium sized, uniquely and beautifully designed, service-oriented, relaxing lobby & courtyard, and located not too far from the old quarter of Hanoi (which is OK to visit but not to stay because of noise and you have to battle with cars, bikes & pedestrians there). The area around... More
