May de Ville is very nicely located: close to the centre of Hanoi but in a relatively peaceful place, aside from the most intensive hassle. The rooms are quite nice. The only thing that frustrated me was the shower. During one shower session the water could turn from very cold to boiling hot, without touching the tap. The breakfast was... More

We stayed at this hotel twice on our Wendy Wu tour of Vietnam, before and after a side trip to Halong Bay. Our firts room was smaller with a small double bed formed by joining 2 single beds. Our second room was bigger with a bigger bed and spa bath but water kept finding its way onto the floor from... More

this hotel wa part of a tour package with Pacific Delight tours. The tour itself was not up to a high standard and the proof is the poor quality of the hotels provided including this one. The staff was good and they had conputers in the lobby that were free but the location was fair and the hotel is not... More

Very nice hotel but watch being under the top floor bar. Upper floor rooms on front are far larger with better views.

It's newer than it's branch in The Old Quarter. All the amenities are provided, including bathrobes, which I decided against, due to an awful lipstick stain at the front. Other than that, the service was five star. My sister request for a connecting room was met, checking in and out was fast and pleasant. I would stay hear again if... More

Stayed 3 nights in Room #804. The room was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean, with a large bathroom and tea/coffee set-upin room. Although slightly away from the center of Hanoi - a short $2 taxi ride from the Old Quarter - it's in an interesting neighborhood with restaurants nearby. Good breakfast buffet. Helpful, friendly front desk staff. ATM and free... More

I had room 802 which was good size, well appointed with a coffee/tea set up and a fruit plate. The hotel offers a good breakfast with both Western and Vietnamese choices. Be aware that the bathtub is high and there is a step-stool to help you get in/out. There are no grab-bars. There are three computers in the lobby with... More

Got a decent rate (£29 including breakfast) Far from the old quarter, but right in the heart of a real working Hanoi neighborhood, so you will experience real Hanoi and friendly locals going about their daily businesses as soon as you step out of the hotel. Plenty of local cafes and street food and a 10 min walk to the... More

This hotel is not a hotel that you will remember as a world class hotel but you do get great value for a very attractive price. The hotel is well located, walking distance from the lake, which you could regard as the heart of Hanoi. The rooms are spacious, and very clean. There is a small gym and a rooftop... More
