We upgraded to Club room on arrival ($30 per night) which gave us free soft drinks/coffee etc all day in the excutive lounge and a free bar and snacks for 2 hours in the evening. Stayed there 4/19-20 2012. Stayed on the 10th floor. Room was very tastefully decorated and looks nice except for the glass bathroom wall. Some idiotic decorator decided to put a glass wall as part of the bathroom. It is covered by a hand drawn shade. It does make the room feels larger than it is when the shade is pulled... More

My lower than perfect ranking is due to this hotel’s location. It was apparently located to support the exposition center which it is a adjacent to, however getting to any place interesting takes a ~10-30min taxi ride. I stayed in December at this relatively new hotel, which was easy to get to from the airport, and must say I was impressed with the exceptional service and large rooms. Everything was perfect for a productive stay, and technology in the room worked well. Keep it up, I will definitely stay here again when back in Hanoi.

Typical 5 star hotel. Great rooms, great service, great food. But far away from city centre, only a supermarket nearby. Agree with previous comment, good for business but not for tourist.

I stayed 2 nights at the Crowne Plaza - and my purpose was holiday/sightseeing. If that is what you are after, i really don't recommend Crowne Plaza.
