As the title says, the staff went out of their way to make our stay in Hanoi a very enjoyable one. They upgraded us twice, to a large room with flat screen tvs. They kept our bags for three days while we went to halong bay. They extended our check out time at no extra charge. They booked us a... Our intended stay at the Hanoi Symphony Hotel was only one night as we were off to Sapa the next evening. We had a really whirlwind itinerary - we were to arrive back in Hanoi from Sapa at 5 AM a couple of days later and then depart for Halong Bay the same day at 8 AM. Not only did... More

The Symphony is a nice hotel, well located in the old quarter of Hanoi. We spent 10 nights in total there, and during that time it felt like home to us. We initially stayed six nights before going to Sapa, and then four nights on our return. For the first 6 nights we were upgraded to a triple room at... More

I don't make a habit of posting reviews (I guess I'm just too lazy to bother). However, in this case I will make an exception. I was recommended The Symphony hotel from a friend that stayed there last year. The staff at Symphony hotel really made my trip to Vietnam memorable. I was only in Hanoi for a very short... More

The whole experience was of being totally on a holiday. Once a tour was picked we knew that everything would be taken care of even to storing our extra baggage while away. The host confidently looked after all of our possible concerns. Airport pickup, tour management, etc. expertly done. Went over and beyond. Dropped our group off AND picked us... More

After our trip out to Halong Bay the Landmark Hotel was full so we booked at the budget friendly Symphony. The desk clerk was helpful. Upon arrival when we told her our experience with a corrupt Hanoi taxi driver and his rigged meter she explained that when this happens you ask the taxi to stop, you get out and leave... More

The staff work really hard throughout to help (breakfast when we arrived, outside of normal serving hours, organising train tickets etc). Really made the difference and I'm so glad we stayed here (Not just remembering names which some people on here consider good service!). Breakfast is simple but ok. The rooms are simple but comfortable with a good bathroom/shower. Their... More

Was really pleased with the reviews on trip advisor so decided that as well as staying at this hotel we would save all the hassle of roaming the streets and book our excursions with the hotel too.. So glad with the decision.. The hotel itself was lovely, clean and in a good area of Hanoi. Reasonably quiet in the old... More

The staff at Symphony were extremely helpful. The room was spacious and had a balcony with wooden doors opening on to it. The room and bathroom were clean. Hotel is in Old Quarter but a quieter street as it was "hardware"(shut down 9pm but joined all streets that had a buzz). They called our tour company for Halong Cruise(We had... More

The hotel is in a good location, only 10mins to walk to hoan kiem lake. Rooms are small but very clean and quite. Friendly, helpful english speaking staff, they help us to book a tour to ha long bay without being overcharged.
