Very cheap mid range place to stay. It has changed name in the past year which surprised us but no problems as the hotel is excellent.  Friendly staff that organised an overnight trip for us to Halong Bay & our overnight train to Hoi An. For the life of me I can't remember the girls name on the front desk... More

I stayed at the Allura hotel for 3 nights at the start of my month long tour of Vietnam & Cambodia. Location of the hotel was perfect, in the old quarter area not far from the Hoan Kiem Lake. My room was very comfortable & I slept well. There was no lift but that was OK for me as my... More

I stayed this hotel for 3 nights after having bad experience of staying in a hotel at HCM. I was not expecting much of anything from so called "the reasonably cheap" accommodation. However, this Allura hotel was different, made my Hanoi stay better and nicer that I want to come back and stay here again. The staffs were very helpful... More

While the location is good and the room have plenty of space the pros stop quite there. The friendly staff turned out to want something in exchange for their manners. e.x. A certain man from the reception offered to help with the booking of the water puppets as is was exeptionally difficult to find tickets - but he had a... More
