Nails it in terms of service. All of the staff from bell to front desk, room service, etc do a great job. Very friendly. The rooms have those really old floral-print curtains that I've occasionally seen in the Midwest (most recently at a Westin in Dallas - Park Central), faded carpet, and furnishings that look like they've been in here... “Comfortable Stay”

Stayed here last week. An oasis away from the bustling old quarter which is 10 mins taxi ride away. The room and toilet are spacious. I was surprised that there were 6 complimentary bottles of mineral water. Cleaniness and services are impeccable. Will recommend this hotel if you don't want to be too near the bustling city center.

“An excellent location and great staff”

The hotel is as bit dated but it carries an old world charm very well. The Club Lounge gives you a charming view of the lake. For Asia Sheraton's, it's low on the totem pole since it really needs updating, carpet, decor, etc...all worn. I stay at Sheratons and Westins in Asia very iften. Not bad for the price. Pool looked nice but I didn't use it. Lobby or restaurant has zero provision for to-go coffee cups, very stupid for a business hotel. Vietnamese hookers hanging... More

We stayed at the Sheraton at the start of a 2 week Vietnam holiday for 4 nights. The room was excellent and the breakfast buffet very good. Pleasant and helpful staff. We stayed here and had a great time. Staff friendly and has good pool. Yes property not new but we found it greta for seeing Hanoi. 10 minute taxi in and out for $4 each way and you see a bit of Hanoi. Good to get out of the centre and nearby has some restaurants like the vine 2 minutes... More
