What can I say, other than DO NOT STAY HERE! You will get ripped off in some way or another. Our laptop was stolen from a locked bag in a locked room! Just read other peoples reviews to see how they too have been ripped off at this place. The bathrooms were sooo filthy and dated and the shower actully... More

Do not be fooled, everyone spoke good english until a problem arose, store your gear at your risk, we put our locked bags and they were locked, in the locked storage room well it was when we left (LOL) and went off to Halong bay, came back only to find our laptop had been stolen, suddenly no one could speak... for sure its cheap, good structure (some depreciating) but could be very noisy (staff and tourists) some nights. The bar on the first floor runs loud music and most of the staff is not really happy to help, even if they usually will. Could be ok for a couple of nights, maximum. After that you become to feel not very... More

We came here after taking the bus from Luang Prabang to Hanoi. One of the employees miraculously appeared on our bus offering a taxi ride from the bus station to the centre of Hanoi. The taxi ride was very reasonably priced and he didn't push anyone to go to the hotel he was working for. We hadn't booked anything beforehand,... More

After a long trip from Lurang Prabang to Hanoi (30hrs!), we wake up in the bus to see a man offering his services from the station to the city center (where he came from we dont know). He also offered a mini bus for the people we were travelling with which worked out cheaper as we were dropped off at... More

We got the room at 10$ in January 2012 (twin bed with heating a/c) after much bargain. Despite their shiny, very respectable hallway, the room we got was quite dirty and scary at first. But we soon found out they had clean bed sheets, an ok bath-tub and CONTINUOUS 24h hot water (my fiance does appreciate a lot). TV was... More

When my wife paid the first time the receptionist overcharged us, making us pay about 50 000 more for 1 night> the price was 14 dollar (even if they told us 12) x 21 + 50 in his pocket. but since the room was ok, although old, for the money we staid. But then it happend again. the other receptionist... More

We paid 18$ for a double room including breakfast. The room had no window and was not perfectly clean. It looks a bit old as well.
