We stayed here for 2 nights in January 2012. It is located in the Old Quarters of Hanoi, near heaps of great places to eat and shopping. It can get a bit noisy at times as there are lots of beeping from cars and motorbikes (not the hotel's fault). The hotel service was good. They were very helpful and tried... More

We stay at Sunrise Hotel Hanoi and we had an amazing time. Right from the start, the owner was incredibly helpful and sweet. We shared a comfortable room right next to the common room, with our own shower. We often spent time relaxing in the common room - reading, watching TV, going online - it's the kind of place where... I like the most friendliness of the staff, in particular Mr Hung on reception who helped me with an earlier check-in and later through the stay. Location is perfect for walking around in Old Quarter. We liked the complementary internet access. The value was incredible. We had a very comfortable stay.

We were really impressive with the service of this hotel. staff in hotel were friendly, helpful and hospitable. They helped us so much when we stayed there. The location of hotel was in the old quarter very convenient for traveling. Our room was clean, large and airy. There was a window, in the afternoon we opened the window and looked... More

The room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom ultra modern. Breakfast was good. Some taxis did find it hard to locate the hotel and they were having trouble with their intrnet connection. But, I would gladly stay there again

We read many reviews on Trip Advisor about Sunrise Hotel Hanoi, so we we decided to book one room at this hotel. After three days we lived there, we really enjoyed with the service at this hotel. It located in the old quarter. From the hotel we can walk to tourist attractions as Hoan Kiem Lake, Water Puppet Theatre, Opera... More

We stayed here for four nights in ealy December 2010. We had two rooms for a family of four, which cost us $25 a night inclusive of breakfast - a traditional vietnamese smorgasbord. The staff were great and even after our Halong Bay trip allowed us to shower before we headed off on the overnight train. The rooms were traditionally... More

The Sunrise is actually joined with the Thaison Hotel 2 at the same address, the Sunrise is a little bit cheaper at around 28-32USD a night and the Thaison a little dearer but well worth the money. The staff including Ian, Tom and Mia were first class and always on hand giving great advise and tips. We were 7 adults... More

Thaison Hotel 2 (Formally known as Sunrise Hotel). Nice and clean. Only staircase for standard room. Deluxe room with lift. Friendly english speaking staff. Inside Old Quarter, very convinience for food and travel around Old Quarter. Low water pressure and internet not stable. Overall is satisfied.

Having found the Sunrise Hotel (9 Hang Mam) on the Orbitz travel website we looked forward to our visit to Hanoi. I contacted the hotel in advance and they kindly arranged for us to be picked up at the airport, even though our flight arrived late at night. The next morning and every morning of our stay we were offered... More
