I have stayed here 3 times now, can highly recommend. The manageress speaks excellent English, husband speaks French, and they actually go out of their way to help with all your requests for info - such a change in Asia where often you will get enthusiastic nodding, not much else! They even took me by motorbike to a tailor. Rooms... More

The hotel is very well located in the old center of Hanoi in a narrow street. However the staff was not very helpful. Nobody was available for check in when we arrived at 7.00 am with the night bus (the guy was still sleeping and we had to wake im up), and the day after we had to leave at... More

This is a nice little hotel in a great location on a quiet lane just 3 very fascinating blocks from the lake in the old quarter. Deluxe rooms were large with a nice balcony overlook the lane. Excellent tomato omelette, toast, juice, coffee for breakfast and really helpful owners, all for $21. Have them pick you up at the airport.

We stayed here for two weeks in January 2012. The hotel is wonderfully located in a quiet lane near Hoàn Kiếm Lake, in the Old Quarter. The rooms are very clean and serviced each day. The owners speak excellent English and are very helpful. Make sure you get a deluxe room, as the standard rooms are too small. The deluxe... More

A great introduction to our stay in Vietnam. The room was spotlessly clean & the breakfast perfectly adequate. The people running the hotel went out of their way to help & make our stay enjoyable. They booked our Halong Bay trip & our overnight train tickets to Hue. The Halong Bay trip was magnificent & they got us a very... More

My partner and i booked a deluxe room for nye. It was a lovely room with nice bathroom and balcony. We were right in the middle of all the action and a 2 min walk from the lake. Delicious food in the alley below and great micro breweries just down the st. Highly recommend it!

I've stayed at Camellia 6 on a number of occasions and will certainly return. What makes this place stand out for me is the friendliness and helpfulness of the people who work there. Its a family run business and I am always made to feel at home there. I would recommend going for one of the larger rooms at the... More

Camellia 6 Hotel is located in a small laneway in the Old Quarter and close to Hoan Kiem Lake. Arriving at midnight we wondered what we had come to with everything closed and deserted. Morning was a magical transformation with a bustling and colourful laneway full of people, motorbikes and food stalls. The hotel is small and basic but good... More
