We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. We thought the rooms were so big and cosy and we liked the old fashioned look and were able to stretch out and not get in th eway of each other. On our return from Suppa our room was very noisey due to renovations but Yen soon fixed the problem. It ai very close to... This hotel had seen it better days. It just simply felt old and barely maintained. Our room was large but busily decorated like a World Market store. To use the wifi one must get down to the lobby because it's not possible anywhere else. Some staff members were quite friendly and helpful but I wish the lady owner could be... More

Ha noi Old Quarter , very special to me. It's like a general department store giant, with the area where traders and craftsmen with a commodity business - something I can not see the United States. Besides the buildings bearing ancient architecture of France, the high-rise commercial buildings could suddenly see a pavilion, a temple hidden deep in the small... More

. My family came to the hotel on 6/12/2011. After a long flight from USA to Hanoi (with connection in Taipei), my family did not pay much attention to the hotel because we were all tired. We slept to refresh ourselves for the next day trip. The next we went away from the hotel for a 2-day trip in Halong... More

You can definitely find hotels in Hanoi for 15-20USD a night but with that, you will get what you pay for. Our room was beautiful, track lighting, comfortable bedding, and all the necessary accomodations one can enjoy. The hotel for the price was more than adequate. However what made our money go the extra mile was the tag team customer... More

Hanoi was the last destination during our Vietnam holiday. The Hanoi Old Quarter Hotel was not very easy to find, but once you get there, everything seems to be allright. The hotel is quite small and has its own charm. The rooms are not luxurious, but have all you need. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They give useful... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in October 2010. The location is great for those wishing to explore the Old Quarter. We stayed in a suite, which was very spacious, with a queen bed and two singles. The decor was somewhat dated, but well maintained and clean. The windows were double glazed which kept out most of the... More

The hotel looks great on the net but when you stay there, you will realise how much this place has been neglected and unmaintained! Their are electricity power points hanging from the wall with just plastic insulation tape covering the joins! In the shower of one room they had obviously fitted a new hot water service to the shower and... More

To start with the positives, the staff at this small hotel were very friendly and helpful, but for us, the location on the edge of the Old Quarter, right opposite a freeway overpass was just a bit too noisy and frantic to be enjoyable. The room was very spacious and easily accommodated the four of us, but furnishings are a... More
