When we arrived at the hotel at around midday, there was nobody at the
door, no bellboy, nobody at the reception desk. Eventually some people
turned up.

We were shown to our room, which looked nice, but had a terrible smell
coming from the bathroom which was spotlessly clean! So we asked to have our room changed.

Same problem again. The bathroom was sparkling, but again there was that terrible smell. We found out that it was probably due to the window not opening at all and there was no extractor fan either, so after a shower, the whole room was very steamy and wet, including the hairdryer.

We had one lunch there, which was not very good. Breakfast was ok, no more.

The girl at the front desk arranged for a boat trip. The boat looked old and dirty. I think the woman on the boat was her sister, as they really looked alike. She tried to sell us fake pearl necklaces, and when we refused, her attitude changed from friendly to... more
