Montra accomodations are basically villas with separate room and living. Loved the pool access room and you can swim around the property. The property are surrounded by gardens, but looks like alot of maintenance needed around it. Its rather quiet at night since there's not many people around. Breakfast menu was fine and personally prepared to your order. You can... More

Having first visited Montra a couple of years ago it was great to be back. It is such a peaceful setting you can’t help but relax and even though it was full we rarely saw any of the other guests. The gardens are lovely, the villas spacious and comfortable and the staff pleasant and helpful. We like the way it... More

We stayed here on our honeymoon in 2008 and returned now in 2012 - it is absolutely an outstanding place to visit if you want peace and quiet and a really relaxing stay. The staff are so so friendly and will go out of their way to make you happy. The food and bar are great and reasonably priced too.... More

We are here now sheltering from a thunderstorm. This place is so lovely we felt compelled to use the free wifi to write a review. We have been travelling around Thailand for the past 2weeks. Although we are not impressed with Ko samui at all, this hotel stands out as the best we have stayed in over our travels accross... More

Tucked away from the relative hustle and bustle of Koh Samui this hotel was an absolute oasis in our trip around Thailand. Staff were very helpful, food was good, but the grounds are just awesome. Only a handful of stand alone suites surrounded by tropical gardens and cool pool that winds around the rooms.

We booked the Montra Suite for 11 nights based on the reviews on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed! We were picked up from the airport by a lovely gentleman and when we arrived at the hotel were welcomed with a cold cloth and glass of juice which was much appreciated considering the heat! As it was early morning we... More

From the moment i emailed the hotel about transfers to the moment we returned to the airport, Montra Hotel and staff looked after us like VIP's!! It is with trepidation that i recommend this hotel so highly because i want to make sure i can still get a room when i return to Samui!!! I was worried that i might... More

We stayed at Montra over Easter 2012 and could happily have stayed on longer. Much longer. Accommodation was a dark-wood ‘hut’, tastefully designed, with everything we needed, and nothing we didn’t. A well-stocked (and well-priced) mini-bar refreshed us when we decided to stay in. The palm-fringed pool by day and comfy sofa by night (it’s clear no corners were cut... More

We stayed in the Montra Hotel for 11 nights, and were looking for a quiet break, in a peaceful location - but we got so much more! The suites at Montra are just gorgeous, they are very spacious and clean, and it really felt like home for our holiday, with our own living room. There are dvd's at reception free... More
