The Bow Guest House is a terrific guesthouse for the value. Choice of fan or air-con rooms with cable TV and 24 hour security. Right in the heart of the old city. Highly recommend it for guest looking for a safe quiet place to stay while visiting the old city. There are many restaurants and pubs in the main area... More

We spent five nights in Bow Chiang Mai after originally checking into SK House and leaving before the first night. Bow Chiang Mai was excellent value (we paid 300 baht or approximately $10 CDN per night). We spent three months in Southeast Asia and this was one of the gems we found along the way. The lady who worked at... More

I have stayed at Bow over 50 nights since it opened. I recommend everyone who goes to Chiangmai to stay there. For the price range(300-500 baht) it's the best deal in town. Bow and her staff are very friendly and helpful. They don't sell cooking classes, travel tours, food etc.. Just leave you to enjoy your sleep in a basic... More

After arriving in Chiang Mai, after an overnight Bus journey from Bangkok, we ended up at a Guesthouse with a very hard sell for trekking, after they gave the sales pitch, i asked to see a room, the room was ok but the noise from the communal TV meant that there was no way you could sleep.. We spent one night at Bow Guest house as Trigong was fully booked. Our room was lovely, really clean, private bathroom and small balcony. Reception staff were very friendly. We slept well despite the hard mattress. Would recommend.

After a terrible night in a guesthouse across the road, we checked out and went to see the Bow guesthouse...for the price it was fantastic value, extremely clean rooms, friendly accommodating staff, and great facilities. I would definately recommend this guesthouse to a friend.
