The rooms were lush, clean, and spacious. 2 free bottles of water every day when they clean. Lovely free breakfast and the staff were kind and extremely helpful in arranging things to do and transport. It's nice and quiet because it is just out of town, but this does mean it's a bit of a walk. If you do decide... More

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Tadkham Village. Its small and traditional, with a lovely courtyard garden. The staff are nice, and the breakfast is good. It is situated in a very quiet street, with bars etc within walking distance, and the Saturday Walking Street market is very close by. However, the other reviews are right when they... More

Can't recommend it enough. We had wonderfull 4 nights there. we paid the same price as in MD House and our stay in chinag mai improved significantly. we had a scooter and checked a lot of hostels and hotels in this category ourselves, so i can really say this is a really good pick in chinag may. it is located... We had originally booked only 1 night at this hotel (through Agoda) as we were not too sure about its location (just outside of the walled down town area) and we ended up staying 4 nights in total. We paid $37/night, breakfast included and we thought this was a very good deal. The hotel premises ared lovely, the room was... More

Tadkam village is a great place to stay in chiang mai. The staff are very helpfull and welcoming and the rooms are spotlessly clean. Its a little bit away from all the action but only 40-60 baht (around £1) for a tuk tuk right into the centre of town. As mentioned before, you will hear the cockerel at any time... More

We really enjoyed our stay here - the staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Slightly quieter location suited us although some may prefer to be nearer bars and restaurants. As others have mentioned, cockerels next door were extremely loud and woke us up at 4 in the morning but this certainly isn't the... More

My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights, the room was spacious, very big bed, the rooms had big tv's, service was excellent, breakfast was good, the two main gripes I had were that the room didn't have a safe.... and that the shower pressure was terrible....it just dribbled.....not good at all.....there were some noisy dogs outside the hotel....... We stayed here for 5 nights and would definetly recommend it to everyone. It was the nicest place we stayed in Thailand by far. The staff were so nice, infact I dont think we ever stayed anywhere that we were made feel so welcome. We were truly very sad to leave Tadkham village. Excellent wifi, lovely breakfast and the very... More

Booked into this hotel by khiri travel as part of a package, so not sure how much was charged. Very friendly hotel, with good size rooms. Beds are a little hard, but this seems the norm in Thailand. Stayed on 2 separate nights, water pressure in shower better on first floor. Very loud cockerel wakes you up about 4 for... More

I chose Tadkham Village after studying lots of reviews. I'm glad that I've made a perfect choice. When we reached the hotel in the morning, surprisingly all our rooms had been ready for us to check in. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious and clean. We like the garden decorations outside our rooms and... More
