This hotel is a little hidden gem. We were a little nervous when we first arrived in Chiang Mia as we were left in the centre and no-one had heard of our hotel so we couldn't get there. Eventually a friendly taxi driver came to our rescue. It was night time when we arrived and we were tired, but the staff were incredibly friendly, although they do not speak very much English. This wasn't too much of a problem though. The grounds of the hotel are truly stunning, our room was nice too, fairly basic with no tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was a surprise, almost outside, and very unusual, I would have loved to have enjoyed it more than I did but I was too afraid of the mosquitoes out there! The mosquito net around out bed was very needed. Quite a few tuk tuk and taxi drivers have not heard of the hotel, but with the aide of a map, we always managed to get home. I do recommend a stay there but only if you're not scared of the mosquitoes like I was! more
