We stayed there for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The hotel staff went out of their way to look after us, including those with us. The expansive grounds gives plenty of opportunity for exploration, rest, relaxation, and exercise. We held a meeting of eight people in one of the seminar rooms for two days and the hotel staff... We stayed at HorizonVillage for a week and everything was really nice. The roos are unique, the grounds are beyond belief. 140 acres of fantastic gardens, a small zoo, many fabulous water features and a General Manager who responded quickly to a couple of small problems. One area needing improvement is the restaurant for evening meals. Wrong dishes served regularly... More

Loved Horizon. Our family of 2 adults and 2 children stayed for 2 nights.....having 2 rooms between us. The rooms were beautifully appointed with twin beds, a dressing area that had tea / coffee facilities and a large bathroom with double sized shower. Bathrobes and slippers were also provided. Everything was spotlessly clean. Horizon consists of several clusters ( villages)... More

Once again Refresh for cross cultural workers is taking place at Horizon Village Resort in Chang Mai Thailand on July 1-10. Many have benefited from this wonderful program. Horizon Village is beautiful, the staff is great, and adult, kids, and staff have a great time. For more information contact Heartstream Resource at www.heartsteamresources.org. We loved it. pool is small and little salty! but the rooms are big and nice. very clean. the breakfast is good and the dinning room is gorgeous (outdoor). the hotel is surrounded by the bottanic gardens. you can have a free Tok Tok ride in the gardens, or just walk around or rent bike or paddal boat for very... We stayed in a standard room, but had a great view of the pool from our balcony through the palm trees. This resort is set within some beautiful botanical gardens - very extensive which provide a quiet retreat from our busy lives in the polluted city in which we live. I have only great things to say about this place... More

I stayed for a week in the Horizon Village and Resort while on a business trip. The rooms are beautiful and my terrace opened onto a view of the next door botanical gardens. It's a quiet and peaceful spot, and the gardens are great for walking round or in my case running around first thing. The resort is attractive. I... More

This is one of the most beautiful places in the Chiang Mai area. It is amazing to me that it is not more well known. FYI, I did not stay at the hotel here but rather ate lunch with friends and then went for a bike tour of the flower gardens. This rivals the Chiang Mai zoo, it's a great... More

I spent 3 weeks backpacking through Thailand (mostly solo) but did meet up with family and stayed at Horizon for 3 days near the beginning of my trip. The price was quite high, especially considering the distance from the city. The rooms are spacious and the grounds are quite nice and are attached to the Botanical Gardens. However, I quickly... We arrived on new year's eve. Dinner was included in the price. Very tasty buffet. Drinks not included. Had two cocktails with the intention to have a few more but they were as watery as water so we stuck to the safety of beer! We had nice room right on the lake. There is a minibus to town free of...
