We found this "village" having taken a river boat trip on the scorpion tailed boat. Fascinating history from the head boatman who turned out to be the originator of this small complex which is constructed by traditional methods of building handed down through the generations, including the use of cow dung to prevent ants. This was the perfect place to stay for us. Close to they city but with a country feel. Transportation to the city is readily available. The very friendly owners are fun to talk with and ready to help make arrangements. We really enjoyed the gardens, variety of trees and the cozy, clean bunglaow and eating area. there's a nice and peaceful cottage on the river side. staffs r so friendly and helpful. there also have a river cruise that show us a historical of the city. good place for people who want to hide from city life more

The hotel is hard to find but once you have found it, u will be happy. I stayed here for a week and was extremly pleased with the place. The room are basic and there is no TV, but u don't need one as the gardens are so beautiful. I would suggest bringing some books and using this hotel to... more
