Nice setting, lots of beautiful flowers and landscaping. Very good food in restaurant. Pool was really excellent, nice and deep, with a beautiful view of the valley. more

1 hour's drive north then east from CM, 500 metres from the main road, along a dirt track, then emerge into a small resort with a handful of cabins, open air restaurant, and smiling Namfon & other staff. We rested here for 2 nights at beginning of honeymoon, and was delightful. 1 other couple first night, and ourselves the 2nd,... more

We recently spent 5 nights at this wonderful hideaway and it was the highlight of our 30 day stay in Thailand. We arrived to Baan Rai Lanna after a grueling 25 hours of traveling. The moment we arrived we recieved a very warm welcome by the lovely hotel manager, Namfon and her staff. This really set the tone for the... more

I stayed here with my girlfriend for about 2 nights recently. The bottom line for us was that we simply did not feel that it was good value for money. We paid 3000 baht per night, and for that price expected a little bit of service, but in reality there was none. For starters, we were picked up in a... more

We , a Dutch couple ,stayed at this resort for 3 days by the end of januari 2008. Used to 5-stars tourist hotels ,we needed about 5 minutes to adapt to the small scale and the very basic approach of this resort and then we fell in love with it. All that really matters is there in good to excellent... more

We had a terrific time for 6 nights at the end of January at Baan Rai Lanna.. We originally booked our stay after reading some excellent reviews here, but we got a bit worried after reading the preceding January 2008 reviews. All I can say is that our experience was a delight. The setting is gorgeous, the rooms and resort... more

We stayed at the Baan Rai Lanna for 2 nights at the end of December 2007. The setting of the hotel was as we had hoped for, really beautiful and away from it all. We booked this hotel because of reading the excellent reviews on trip advisor so we have some important feedback for others considering a stay in the... more

The Baan Rai Lanna Resort was in a beautiful remote location. We stayed for 3 nights. The staff was very friendy and so helpful. They actually made our stay. The problem I had was with a "squirrel", so I was told, that lived in the roof of our bungalow. He only came out at night and scatched at the ceiling... more

We loved this peaceful oasis. The food was wonderful. The staff was absolutedly wonderful. Namfon, took good care of us. This is a place for nature lovers who want to get away from the bustling city. You will see alot of gekos every where. The pool was small, but pleasant. The kids loved it. I might recommend, booking your own... more

My husband and I stayed at the Baan Rai Lanna for two nights this past May - I wish we could have stayed forever. Everything from the flowers floating in our sink to the on-site massages to the delicious Thai dinners was perfect. Kob and the rest of the staff will really do anything to make your stay a great... more
