This guesthouse is right on the moat. It's a great location, if that is what you are looking for. The staff is friendly, and the service was good. The room was adequate, and comfortable. That said, the majority of the people I encountered were drunken westerners (and their lady entourage). Most were great people, and easy to get along with.... More

It would have been a nice guesthouse, but on the last day my money was stolen. I left 3000 THB in the hotel room, which I know was not very smart, but still. We always left the keys at the reception so the chance anyone else but us and the staff could access the room is very little. All I... More

Lai-Thai Guest House is located at a very convenient location along Chiang Mai's major roadway. It is within walking distance to a major night market area. The rooms are basic but clean and very affordable. The swimming pool area is nice and relaxing, too. The breakfast (eggs, toast, lassi) is delicious and is served quickly at a very nice price,... The rooms are decent and worth the price. However, the beds were hard as a rock. I know this is not a 5-star, etc, but it was a bit unbearable (and I'm an avid camper) The location is great, however, just a 1 minute walk across the street to the walled city. The hotel also offers to arrange any tours,... More

I went on Agoda looking for a two star with a pool unse $40 a night and had no luck. We picked some place and of course the tuk tuk drive offered us this one so we went to have a look. We were travelling as a three so most places require us to buy two rooms we could get... More

Great value for the money you spend. Courtyard and pool area make it seem a bit nicer than it is but it's still a great property. Staff is exceptionally helpful and let me keep my bags there for two days when I took a motorcycle north to Pai. Located across from the southeastern corner of Old City so it's easy... More

We were brought here by the taxi driver who picked us up at Chiang Mai railway station, because we had no accommodation pre-booked. On first impressions it looks quite nice with the rooms set around a courtyard where there is a swimming pool, and the restaurant is to one side. I've nothing really bad to say about the place, but... More

The pluses - they have good security locks up for valuables and the male owner was friendly and wished me a pleasant stay Other than that I have nothing good to say about this place. I paid 800 baht which is very expensive and it is very easy to find places better located for 400 baht which are far nicer.... More
