I stayed here for 3 nights over the Christmas period and so prices were at a premium. However, the room cost the same as Imm Hotel and was nowhere near as nice. If the room had cost less I wouldn't have been as disappointed - poor value. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the downstairs lobby area is... More

Hotel has nice and fresh breath, green scenery make our stay healthy and lovely. Meal is good quality and service with some homemade selections. Not far from downtown chiangmai, around 9-10 km. We promise to come again .

I was here for 2 nights at the beginning and end of a hill tribe trek. I had a smooth check in and was shown to my room (my suitcase got there first though). The room was ok. Basic, but I don't mind for what I paid (and spent a lot of time in hostels so was nice to have... More

I stayed here in March for 3 nights, rooms are dated in a resonable location near the night market. I had some trouble with my air conditioning to get working, staff were slow to respond. When it did get working did not really cool the room down. I would STRONGLY advise you to google 'Downtown Inn Chiang Mai' before you... More

The Downtown Inn is located steps away from the Night Market on Loi Kroh Road, and is about a 20-minute walk from the "moat" part of the city. The room smelled of smoke, but luckily I could open the window and air things out while I was gone. The rooms are kind of cramped, especially the bathroom, which barely has... More

Stayed here two nights on a tour - my main impression of the hotel is that it is a nice friendly place. Reception & room were light and airy. Very convenient for the night market. Only eat breakfast in the restaurant and that was fine. The reception staff were friendly and smiling. The room was good; no decorative issues, the... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of a group in January for one night. The hotel, including lobby, hallways, rooms, breakfast area are all very dated. The rooms were actually very spacious but the bathroom was tiny. The only thing that was truly offensive was the disgusting bed sheets that were stained with what looked to be blood, coffee,... More

Stayed as part of an Explore tour and really liked this hotel. I'd been to Chiang Mai before so knew its location, down a quiet side-street off the night bazaar road, was fantastic. Nice reception with excellent and friendly service. Pleasant dining room (only ate breakfast, which was fine), nice terrace for drinks. Lovely little pool area with loungers, fresh... More
