Before I write this review I do want to acknowledge that certain budget travelers would sacrifice many basic features for the sake of 100 baht (3$). I'm not one of those people. Fast wifi, hot water, friendly staff, fan, free computer use, small tv, small rooms but huge terrace, if you get a room at the end, and great views of the mountain. For 400baht I'd come back.

I found this hotel wandering around Chiang Mai. It is a little off the main road near the bargirl scene but is in a residential area and very isolated from all of that.
