This hotel was nice! I don't have really complaints. The rooms face each other so the privacy requires closed curtains! But not a big deal.
I had a room overlooking the pool. And a room over looking the street.
Get the room facing the pool. It's way bigger, nicer and quieter.
Loved the pool, super nice. Cold though.
Nice staff...

Stayed here for two nights.
Location is good - just inside Thapae Gate, but down a quiet lane so not much traffic noise. Lots of restaurant options around there from local places for the locals to more tourist oriented options.
Room - clean, large with an extra bed under the window. Safe, hanging space, luggage space, dark at night, comfy...

Located in a small lane. All room are facing to each other hence you can be easily seem by others. Housekeeping is bad, ants in the room and mosquitoes at night. Breakfast is bad. Stay for 1 night and change hotel straight.

Vieng mantra is located conveniently in the old town of Chiang Mai, on a quiet alley. The compound is lush and green with a pool. Design is very tasteful and with emphasis on light tropical wood. My Room had a huge bed, modern tv (no BBC...), asian minimalistic furniture, decent toilet area with a small bathtub. Although there were some...

We stayed for two nights in the Vieng Mantra. Of course it is a rather expensive place but it's worth it! The rooms are beautiful with a splendid king size bed and a nice balcony overlooking the pool. Furthermore it has a fine central location with everything on walking distance. No comments at all!

The city of Chiang Mai is not very clean, so when we were approaching our hotel and saw the street was dirty, we were concerned. Once we were in the lobby, we were happily greeted and were promptly shown our room. There are no elevators in the 3-story hotel, but we didn't mind, and the hosts brought up our luggage...

We were comfortable at this hotel butit could have been better. The location was down a crowded lane way that was very dark at night though we never felt unsafe. You had to walk to the main road for transport and most services. There were lots of cafes and restaurants as well as tailors and Thai massage places very close....
