Enjoyed a pleasant 3 nights stay at Baan Hanibah and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet retreat in the old city of Chiang Mai. Our room was delightful and the bed very comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful also the fabulous breakfasts, which was a nice selection of fresh fruit, breads, cereals and toast. The location is perfect... More

I stayed at Baan Hanibah last year in October and have already reviewed this B & B but wanted to write another one as I really enjoyed my first stay and it is just marvellous to be back. It truly is a perfect spot and I always find the staff so warm and helpful and ready to assist with anything... More

We have been here for 3 nights. The room was okay and spacious. What was really annoying was that one day, when we came home in the afternoon to rest a bit in the room they had some guys there to clean the AC in our room. So without letting us know in advance they let these guys into our... More

Baan Hanibah is one of the best guesthouses I have ever stayed in. Fabulously welcoming staff, sumptuous breakfasts (the sticky rice with banana or sweet potato...delicious!), all in a beautiful, old teak house. Excellent value. Great location. Beautiful surroundings. More

Given the price range in Chiang Mai, this place would be a little on the high side. That would be based on what we heard about other, similar, accommodations. That said, the rooms were perfectly suitable and the breakfast was great. The one real shortfall here was that the otherwise wonderful staff knew little or nothing about the city or... More

We were two backpackers going around in Thailand for a month and staying in places with price level of 600-1500 TBH in 2010 and we stayed in many places in the South of Thailand on the islands, in Bangkok and in Chiang Mai, North of Bangkok. In total we probably tested something like 10 places and I can sincerely tell... More

What a pleasant surprise! We thought we got a great deal with 2 rooms and an adjoining common area between the 2 rooms. Very conveniently located in old city - close to a great cooking school (Thai Farm Cooking School) and many great restaurants and shopping. Breakfast is awesome and the staff were wonderful to my 2 and 4 year... More

I like trip advisor, it's a great site and I have found most reviews to be very accurate in description. This certainly is true of Baan Hanibah. It's a gem of a place and is of excellent value. To put it simply, it's the perfect little guesthouse in a perfect little neighbourhood. I reccommend this room to all types of... More

After multiple visits to the Baan Hanibah it's my home away from home. All the speical touches like fresh flowers make it homey and the staff are warm and friendly and always helpful. The breakfasts are healthy and different everyday and they will make anything you want (within reason). The garden is quiet and lovely even though so close to... More

We thourougly enjoyed our stay in Baan Hanibah and would stay here again any time in Chiang Mai Old City. Many restaurants close by, a market, pharmacy, laundry, massage places are within short walking distance. Sunday market and evening market are not too far either. Very clean, great common areas, not crowded as it only has a few rooms. I... More
