Room at Royal Ivory was spacious, well presented, clean and daily service for towel. soaps, bedding etc was superb, this place is super value for money, it is well worth calling in advance to get the maximum amount of discount possible both on a day basis and it stopping for longer i.e. a week (even if spilt during your stay!),... I have stayed here a few times, its a good "old world" hotel with a couple of minor flaws. Some of the rooms are quite dark and located too close to the pool pump of the private house situated behind the hotel, also after many suggestions they still do not provide Hand soap in the bathrooms. I stay in many... More

Just got back. A quick browse of some previous reviews and most are ok. I find the place to be excellent in terms of value for money. Staff are very helpful, especially Apple. Some will complain that the rooms are a little dated, but this is a budget minded - there are plenty of nicer places in a variety of... More

The online photos give the wring imrpession of this place. the hotel is desperalty in need of renovating and generally overhauled. The bathroom was not inviting, full of mould and the room, although very large was smelly , smellt of mould . The swmiming pool is a total disaster, I dont know when the photos were taken but its certainly... More

We had booked Royal Ivory through one of my local travel agent in Bangkok and later realised that the hotel was offering better rates on its official website. The hotel is located inside Soi 4 which is a good 5-7 minutes walk from the main road. During the day time the area is mostly quite but after dark it tranforms... More

Having stayed at the Royal Ivory last year I decided to use the hotel again on three separate occasions, 21-23 February 12, 27 February-1March 2012 and 5-8 March 2012. Once again I was using Bangkok as a base for further travel in Thailand and the Royal Ivory is well positioned for navigating the delights of the city. Please read my... More

Execellent location for Sukhumvit Road. I had appointments at Bumrungrad Hospital and I even walked a few times. The staff was excellent and attentive. The breakfast was more than ok. Whatever I was looking for was in walking distance, and the roomwas quie enough to get away from it all. Looking forward to my next stay.

This is a very nice hotel for a very cheap price. Very friendly staff, good restaurant, nice rooms.
