This hotel really needs to bring their breakfast offering up to modern standards. Although mostly Asian in nature there are a small number of Western Offerings which really need upgrading as they do not cater to modern health standards. The location is a plus being a short distance from the New Terminal21 shopping centre and Asok skytrain station. The tuk... More

We stayed in Tower B, room 808 for 3 nights. I have to say I was disappointed when I saw the room; it was nothing like what it featured in the website! Though the room was spacious, the design was old, furniture was old, and carpet was dirty. I thought Tower B was old, there’s a musty smell once you... More

Somerset Lake point is one of those serviced apartments with a very relaxed atmosphere. This is suitable for families with children staying for more than a week in Bangkok. The staff are naturally helpful. The area houses some excellent restaurants, including the in-house Thai restaurant Red Chilli with a gracious host. They have 2 pools and a convenient indoor golf... Stayed here with my family of seven. Yes the tower a complex is getting old and we did find some of the fitting starting to date but all in all it is great. Rooms are large and if you get a cheap rate off the web it is good value. Complex has nice pools and staff are friendly. Breakfasst is... More

I stayed in this hotel with my family of 6 during April 2012. Having booked a 3 bedroom premier suite, we were completely and utterly disapointed when we checked in (that was an ordeal in itself). The apartment, while spacious, was old and very poorly furnished. NOTHING like the pictures on the website. The only good thing about this hotel... More

I had stayed twice in Somerset Lake point once in 2009 with my family and again 2011 with my friends. The serviced apartments are the perfect place for family or large group as you will never feel "short of space" which generally you will find in any hotel being confined to just one room. The 2 bedroom apartment was fully... More

We chose Somerset Lake Point because our first stay a year and a half ago was spectacular. That was in Tower B. When we booked, there were no units available in that tower already so we had no choice but to get a suite in Tower A. The difference between the units of the towers is very large. If you... More

We have stayed at the Somerset Lake Point for two years now. We had been long standing clients of the Marriott Executive Apartments on Soi 24, but after finding the Somerset, we never went back. The excellent price/quality value, the friendly and attentive service and the well appointed rooms are just perfect for those who make Bangkok their base while... More

We have stayed at the Somerset Lake Point for 4 years on our brief interludes in Bangkok as we use the city as a hub for our travels throughout Asia. Our main reason for staying here is not only is it inexpensive but it has good washing facilities ie washing machine, ironing board, iron and everything a traveller would need... More
