I am a regular here,it's a little gem. Great staff, great location, excellent value for money. I only stayed for two nights with my Partner as we had been staying with friends elsewhere in BKK. Since my last stay in late May 2009 bathrobes have become an additional cost, only 300Bht, but none the less an odd economy to make.... more

The Hotel is located right in the Gay Area, close to Soi 2, 4, Silom area. If you're going to Bangkok to check the gay nightlife, gogo boys, boy bars, the "scene", the this is the place, because all of that is just walking distance. The hotel also allows you to bring a "guest" or no extra charge, so that's... more

Was there Dec. 7th though the 16th. Excellent location, off the main drag and very quiet. Excellent security. The staff is very friendly and helpful. While the room was somewhat dated and the bathroom could definatley do with a make over; it was very clean. The restaurant was suprising good. A couple of things to note. There are few amenities... more

We just arrived home after staying the last leg of out trip at Tarntawan hotel 11-15 November. The staff at this hotel was exceptional. We had a suite on the 6th floor and had a most wonderful stay. On several occasions we had joiners with us in the room and never any problems from management. When the joiners left, security... more

Most of these other reviewers have it right. This is a wonderful hotel. Is it brand new? No. Are the rooms the most luxurious? No. Is is perfect? No. Is it still wonderful? YES!!!! Wonderful service, free guest computers, fruit in room every day, room service prices that are lower than the neighboring restaurants!! Free breakfast whenever you want it... more

This trip to Bangkok we made a huge mistake and stayed at the Siam Heritage Boutique Hotel (see review for how dire that was). The Tarntawan rode to our rescue over 6 years ago taking a last minute booking from Pattaya by phone after we realised that that particular resort is just about the most vile on the planet and... more

I have stayed in the hotels and very familiar with their locations. This is where most of the upscale shopping is located, as well as some really great dining and entertainment areas (Famous Savile Row tailor and Red light district are close to the hotel on Suriwong road. This area is a bit touristic, but also has some great sites... more

Great location (especially for the Night owls). We had the suite and it worked really well for us - plenty of room for my wife and I and our 2 teenage sons. Nice view - air conditioner worked well. Breakfast was good quality. Lots of things in Japanese cuisine. The location is obsolutely fine, near to all the sights. I usually... more

I just stayed at the Tarntawan Hotel and it is a great hotel. It's nice and clean and with great service. And for being in downtown Bangkok I thought the price was good too. The room includes breakfast and free wifi. Like I said this hotel is really good and has really good service the only thing I didn't like... more
