Having previously reviewed A-One and stayed there several times after, I must say that they rarely honor their reservations anymore. I have made several reservations (asked for a new room) and when I arrived they only had an old room. The last time I stayed there they didn't save me a new room and put me in an old twin... more

The room is ok as hostels go but this place advertises itself as a hotel and has prices to match. The advertised satellite TV is, in reality, 3 thai channels and the staff refused to try to help with that. The bath rooms are tiny and the rooms aren't very clean. The whole place is lacking atmosphere. The main bad... more

A-One Inn has one positive thing on its side, and ONLY one: it is central to the "happening" part of Bangkok and the sky train. Now for the negatives, which far outweigh the positive: the hallway is narrow, the place is noisy, the rooms are small, bland, and not overly clean, the bathroom is MICRO (I hit my head on... more

I called this hotel weeks before to reserve a double room, and I called them the day before my arrival to confirm my reservation and told them my arrival time. Unfortunately, I found out that there was no room for me. The staff didn't even apologize, but treat me rudely. The hotel is popular among backpackers, but they don't honor... more

we recently stayed a few nights here, a very good value for this part of the city. Rooms/bathrooms are indeed on the small side, but they are clean and in relately good nick, the staff are super friendly. Free lockers, cheap laundry service, a decent internet cafe in the lobby, good hawker stalls out on the soi. Right around the... more

The A-One inn is very basic, budget accommodation. Sometimes dirty and very noisy. I have stayed there a few times and each time there has been something different that has put me off. This time the room was very dirty, hair and dirt in bathroom, on the floor and in the bed. Some of the staff can be very rude... more

This place is awful, unless of course you like a place that has been continuously patched up over the years by someone who really shouldn't make DIY a hobby. The sheets weren't exactly clean - we were grateful for our sleep sacks we'd taken travelling - and the curtains were a lovely purple faux satin that didn't really cover much... more

We chose this inn because it is very close to the maboomkong (MBK) shopping stretch. It's only 5 minutes away. However, the rooms didn't have a very pleasant feel to them. The toilet was very small, and the floor always flooded after a shower. The drainage wasn't good, meaning that the pool of water on the bathroom floor actually stayed... more

We arrived 15 minutes later then we’d told them by which time our room had gone – in spite of reconfirming 3 days before as they’d asked us. The owner’s response was “you should have phoned”, I think she thought I had some sort of GPS in my head and could predict the traffic conditions to give her a PRECISE... more

we stayed here- well actually we didn't. We ended up here as it was the only place in the area that I had headr good reviews of. Rooms are very basic- somewhat moldy. Bathroom was an add-on. The rate of $20 for an AC room is borderline- even for Bangkok. My favouriute part- whihc led us to another room even... more
