What a great Guesthouse for cheap backpackers who are willing to spend just a little more money for a lovely stay. Two single beds cost us $15 USD, versus the $5 we would have payed for a seedy, noisy guesthouse. The rooms are basic, clean and the bathrooms were shared but well maintained. I believe that the building is made... More

I stayed here for about 8 times now, and i will be back for sure, next time in Bangkok. The room are clean, and the staff are so friendly. The owners mr. and ms, tavee are the sweetest couple. Glad that i found this guesthouse many years ago. Louise Denmark

A real nice little place to stay, lots of greenery and character. Down a little side alley, in a quiet location. Rooms were clean, we paid 700B/night, with free wifi. Very close to Tha Thewes pier to catch the river taxi, and in walking distance (taxi easier!) of Grand Palace, Khao San Road, etc. The only problem was the noise,... More

Small guest house with diverse rooms. Helpful staff, green and quiet. Good location situated close to the river taxi and a short drive from the Khao San. They do not have a website so contact them thru Facebook.

My boyfriend and I stayed in a room with a queen sized bed and air conditioning and a shower/toilet in the room. For what we paid, we were thrilled! The room was basic and clean. The shower and toilet were separated from the rest of the room by a wall that did not go all the way up to the... More

We decided to book 3 nights at Tavee and we received the room number 2, which was lovely, perfectly clean (it is one of the strongest points of Tavee: everything is perfectly clean) and new. The bathroom is perfect, hot and cold water, you receive clean towels and soap, everything is proper. The price was ok, 700 baths for one... More

The Tavee guest house is a great little place, tucked away behind a leafy entrance on a quiet street north of Banglamphu. It is situated behind Sri Ayuttaya Guest House, (which was being refurbished when we visited), which is in the lonely planet guide. Tavee is operated by the same family, and is perfect if you don't want to drink... More

What a great place and location! Right off the Chao Praya River, and short bus rides to the major bus stations it was tremendously convenientl. The staff was amazing, their restaurant reasonable and delicious, and I was able to leave my luggage secure in a room and travel not only around Thailand, but even when I left for a month... More

The family who own it are lovely, the staff and cleaner are great and the rooms are of an excellent standard. Its the best place in the street, Shanti guest house next door is noisy, overrun and staff are rude (but go there to eat their food is great). There is a 711, good food and ATM on the street... More

A friendly and well run guest house. The best rooms (still cheap) were smart and comfortable and the location set back from the main road ensured a peaceful night with no loss of convenience!
