Our taxi driver got lost and dropped us off near this hotel. We didn't know where we were, so we just walked in. The room was decent, and an ok value for money in Bangkok. Across the street and closer to the 7-11 is the KC guest house, which is a bit cheaper, and a bit cleaner. The staff here... More

We paid 580BHT for a double air-con room with private bathroom. The room was a bit small so not for claustrophobics. The shower head and toilet had good pressure. We didn't risk bed bugs so we slept in a sleeping bag. The staff was friendly at night but hostile during the day. They have free wifi and computers for 10BHT... More

We primarily stayed at KS House due to its convenient location near Khao San Road. We really didn't want to stay on Khao San, so we stayed near, much quieter and cleaner. We paid 580 BHT a night for a double room with air-con. The bed was hard, and we were very wary of bed bugs, so we slept in... More

We booked K.S. House because of its cheap price and convenient location, close to Khao San Road. The location didn't disappoint; in fact, it was better than staying on Khao San road itself. The rooms were what you can expect for such a low price: small, extremely basic and a combined toilet/shower area. My only real complaint with K.S. House... More

My friend recommended this place because it was good value so I booked 3 nights. Nice location not far from Kao San Road and quiet area. I took the cheapest room on the top floor but I had no access to free wifi from there. There used to be a bar restaurant on the rooftop but it was closed by... More

We stayed at KS Guesthouse at the beginning of July. It was the first place we stayed on our trip so thought it was ok at the time. The rooms were small and noisy and bathrooms shabby but fairly clean. It was ok, not much of a communal area either and the people at reception spoke little English so weren't... More

My fiance and I stayed at KS Guesthouse for two nights at the beginning of November. We originally wanted to stay a week (as I had contracted Dengue Fever and needed to rest with a clinic nearby) but we moved out after two nights. The rooms are tiny. I don't expect much from a hostel/guesthouse in this price range, but... More

Very good located, near Khao San Road and near many attractions, like Grand Palace. Few nights we slept in triple room with balcony, it was quite nice for this price. Last night I slept in single room, it was very small but still good for this price. Both clean and with bathroom. There is also rooftop restaurant and free wifi.

A good place to stay in Banglamphu. Very nice staff and last years it has been upfreshed, so those days it is quite clean and comfortable - compared with the costs. But take care of your belongings. Never leave any valuables in the room when going out. At the time I stay there someone with a headkey went into my... More
