Emerald Hotel review
This is your typical budget hotel with a slight twist—it looks pretty good on the outside for a budget hotel. But once in the room, there is no question about the budgetness.
It doesn't have slippers. Not even those supercheap ones made of paper. The body lotion has uneven texture—one (half) bottle smooth and semi-fluid, the next...

I have never seen a better hotel! Most beautiful place I have been to and I have travelled a lot. Went to Bangkok for first time last year, but stayed at another place, this time we chose the Emerald because it was recommended by friends of our – it is worth the price! Spacious, nicely decorated rooms, very convenient bathrooms...

- Large, impressive lounge/reception area
- Right behind the...

The lobby and and the room are elegantly decorated and looks very new. The room size is not big though. Nearby is the Robinsons and a supermarket. There's also roadside stalls nearby if you are keen to eat like the locals.

My third time at this place, and whilst no doubt not the flashest hotel in Bangkok I simply like it. Relaxed vibe, friendly staff, and above all the band is what makes this place for me. See you next time.

I have stayed in the Emerald on 3 occassions during the last 3 years, partly because it is situated close to the place where I need to work but mostly because it offers high standard accomodation at a very reasonable price. The staff are well worthy of mention, very warm, helpfull and friendly at all times and enough of them...
