Have been visiting friends in Bangkok for the last 5 years and always choose the Grand President. The rooms are big and sensibly priced and the location is central to all the best places to eat and drink. Staff are always polite and helpful and the restaurant food is great. I will continue to stay at the Grand President as... More

I have been using the Grand President as my overnight choice in BKK for the last two years. I use it for overnights when I have flights the following day, or when arriving late at night. I also have used it with my partner when we want to stay in BKK for shopping, movies etc, as we live 250k away.... More

Having a long term relationship at that property,; having just returned from The Grand President spend the first 2 days and last 3 days of my 30 day vacation. Knowing the bellboy staff from my first visit to Thailand, I consider him my first "friend" I primarily like to base myself from that properties 5 star location, 300 meters to... More

Stayed at Grand President Hotel for 5 nights in January 2012. We stayed in Tower 2, on 19th floor, which was a free upgrade. Room was huge, with a separate bedroom, lounge area and kitchen (although not sure who uses kitchens on holidays). Room also has a washing machine which is also handy. I have no complaints about this hotel... More

Stayed in this hotel for one night on a quick visit to Bangkok. Hotel is centrally located and is convenient for restaurants and bars located nearby. Rooms are fairly spacious and the facilities are ample for business or pleasure. The hotel is in two towers. Tower A is where we stayed and we were informed that Tower B was not... More

Dear AJPKK, Thanks for the positive review. Grand President has three buildings with a variety of rooms and suites on offer. Tower 2 is an all-suite building and is also nice as we constantly upgrade the rooms as needed. The advantage of these suites is that they have a full-fledged kitchenette with a washer-dryer. We look forward to your return... More

After a 9 hour flight I arrived at the hotel, 3 hours later and still waiting for my room! Staff keep telling me there are no clean rooms available, yet I have seen dozens of people check out over the last 3 hours. The Duty Manager has no interest in helping, seems more interested in their shift ending in 30... More

Dear Daddyzee, I regret you were kept waiting for a room after a nine hour flight and found our staff inattentive to your needs. Though our check-in time is 2 p.m. and check-out time is noon, we usually allocate rooms to early-arriving Guests if we have vacant rooms available or as soon as Housekeeping is able to get them clean.... Stayed here for 5 nights middle of January 2012. This is my third stay here and I still enjoyed it. I stayed with my 6 year old son in a one bedroom apartment in Tower 2. All good things like washing machine, DVD player, microwave, kitchenette, in room safe etc. Close to sky train, only a 5 minute walk to... More

Arrived tired at 8.30am Sunday 18th Decenber 2011, reception so helpful and it was my first time to Thailand, they put my bag with the concierge who chained it up securely, so I could go for a walk, only had to kill time for 2 hours and my room was ready to go to fantastic. I was in Tower 3... More

Dear 01angus, Thanks for your encouraging review. I’m pleased you enjoyed your stay despite the hiccups with the room allotted on your arrival. Sorry about that. Yes, we’re working on improving Tower 3 and I agree the new rooms are better than the older ones. Hoping to do extensive improvements in 2012. I hope this is the first of many... More

I booked into the Grand President because they had a decent price. I go to Bangkok 3 or 4 times a year and I always stay on Soi 11, so I've tried most of the hotels on this street. The booking was for an efficiency apartment type room, with free internet. When I arrived, they sent me across the street... More

Dear GaijinKim, Thank you for your feedback and I regret you found our staff rude. From my investigations we found that you had booked through Agoda for a Junior Studio. I’m sorry if the Agoda site was not clear on the location of the room. On your arrival, I believe we upgraded you to a Deluxe Room in Tower 3.... More

I stayed at this property for five nights in January 2012. It is a great location, just a 3-5 minute walk from the Nana BTS station, 5-10 from the Terminal 1 mall (loads of places to eat, cinema, etc).
