Sukhothai is really a great property, not only is it located near silom (skytrain a few minutes away) but the Hotel is surrounded by a garden witch gives you a very quiet feeling. We stayed here for a long weekend and found the Hotel to be wonderful. Very peaceful setting you can easily forget (if you want to) that you are only metres away from bustling Bangkok. Compared to all of the large high-rise hotels in Bangkok, The Sukhothai is a calm oasis in a busy part of the city. The rooms are lovely with teak wood and silk furnishings. We spent 3 days at the Sukhothai on the way to Koh Samui. It's 5 star luxury well worth the money, fantastic service and great pool with sun most of the day. Like an oasis in the middle of the busy city. more
