I spent 8 nights at the Watergate as someone who is familiar to Bangkok and Bangkok hotels. The stay was excellent and certainly up to the standard of any of the better hotels in Bangkok. This is the third time we have stayed here. Great location with markets at your door. The hotel itself is one of the better ones we have stayed in. Great rooms especially the Grand Deluxe ones. The staff and the hotel was very relaxing. The lobby was well decorated, and the bathrooms were clean. The breakfast was good, and the food was fresh. I had a problem with one of my shirts and the hotel took care of it with no extra expense to me. more
