I spent time in Bangkok in October- November 2012. Many evenings were spent here. On most nights there was an incredible band playing a combinaiton of rock and pop music from the 60s to the present - all in English. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Have just stayed 4 nights at the Amari. Hotel is located in a very busy area of Pratnum with lots of cheap stalls and markets right outside. Beautiful lobby and excellent breakfast. Large well appointed rooms but musty smell from airconditioning system. Very busy place with lots of groups however good value and very good service. More
