I've been to Bangkok many times -- but this was the most unique and memorable trip because of this little B&B. The Asadang is located just behind the Grand Palace in the old district, offering me a very different view of the city. The pace was slower, and definitely far more interesting. The Asadang is a beautifully restored shophouse. The... More

We enjoyed our stay at The Asadang. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Close to the sights and to the river. A few good restaurants are within walking distance. Don't miss The Deck Restaurant - great night view of Wat Arun across the river. The hotel has a friendly and very helpful staff. Highly recommend this B and B.

Pur stay at the Asadang was absolutely fantastic. This place is arranged with a lot of character, staff is welcoming and full of attention. Location is ideal to visit the old city and its temples. À great great pick.

The Asadang Old Time Bangkok is just that, a taste of the past in a large modern city. Even though this B&B is a bit off the beaten path, it is a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. A plus to the location is you are right next to the historical sites. The Reclining Buddha and Grand... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Asadang Hotel. - Staff: friendly and really helpful. There is always someone at the desk, night and day. We had to leave at 5am to catch our plane and they even had prepared a fresh orange juice glass for us to have before we leave. - Room: we got the Mahanak room. Really nice,... More

we lived for 3 nights, and really had a great time. The room is clean and comfortable, I love the decoration and design, especially the key bell. Everytime it rings, our house keeper will know our move and come to help, that is so nice!! They offer us unexpected local food at every breakfast, and wait for our back no... More

I had such high hopes for this B&B. It looks great on the website. It just left me cold. Almost like sleeping in a museum. Antiques -- yes. Architectural detail -- yes. Good service -- yes. Clean -- yes. However, it is missing something most important. A feeling. There was no coziness to the place. To me the owner's need... More

We have now enjoyed stays at both The Asadang and The Bhuthorn, which are owned, renovated and operated by the same talented and lovely people. Both of these bed and breakfast establishments are little gems, located in "old time" Bangkok in very close proximity to many of the significant tourist sites. The quality of the interiors, the attentive and personalized... More

What a paradise in the middle of a big hot bustling city. Charmingly decorated and wonderful warm service. A home away from home. I only wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you for your warmth and hospitality. Great advice about the city and country too.
