stayed in bangkok twice, on route elsewhere,came back to the sathorn, thought the staff were always pleasant and helpful, food was nice, we're approx 50 and the skytrain was a short walk down the road, the pool was the selling point for us with a great view of the city

Bad - Simple as that. Stayed here a couple of years ago and was great, since then it has gone downhill in all areas. Service is terrible ( Tried to charge for using too much toilet paper! ). Avoid - there are plenty more better places in this price range and area of the city.
