This was our first stop in Thailand. The room was cleanish, the bathroom was dark and very basic - once again cleanish but not spotless, the mirror taps and shower could have done with a clean and a wipe everyday when they made your room up. The towels & sheets were clean & smelled nice. The thin mattress they gave... More

*From the first message a standard room for 2 adults+a baby was requested. Standard rooms are normally for 1 or 2 persons and we answered proposing both the standard room on 3rd floor and the large room on 1rst floor. Standard was confirmed. The baby was in fact a 1 year and ½ child, quite tall already, walking by himself….... More

As a family of five with young children, we were initially suspect that this tiny place hidden on a back street would meet our needs. We were well satisfied staying there three nights, and here's why: Although Jac requires a deposit and cash payment up front, at least one doesn't have to think about a credit card number floating around.... Having the best room (front, top floor) was well worth it even though one has to climb all the way to the top floor. The view was fantastic, the room was huge, the bathroom was to die for. Even though we arrived on Sun afternoon, when the kitchen was normally closed, Pom, as prearranged, was waiting for us and cooked... More

We stayed in Hansaah for 4 nights in the beginning of our trip through Southeast Asia, and enjoyed our time in this lovely guesthouse. It is a small family-run place, with only 5 rooms. The owners, Jacques and Pom, are very friendly and were always willing to chat and provide information about Bangkok and things to do in the city... More

Did not know where to stop in BKK, and I found this place out of luck! It is charming, very convenient, quiet, and very good service.

Location is superb with constant flow of taxis outside. Its kinda close (by cab) to lumpini station (if you are elderly or with kids, dont try walking to station - its far). Breakfast is very good, but there are quirks which if improved could make the service even better. For example, an additional tea-bag is charged at double the price... More

Sorry we gave the impression of not willing to accept feed backs when in fact we do indeed appreciate them as a gifts from the guests who will come to us to point out possible improvements. We got many that helped improving our service and/or beeing aware of customers' expevtations. We had the impression comunication was easy with this group... More

Was staying here for 3 days. Room here is really large, clean with nice view and great taste for decoration. Jac and Pom are so nice and provided us many useful info. Finally, the breakfast was perfect that we missed the homemade jam and yogurt so much!

On our first visit to Bangkok/Thailand, we stayed at Hansaah & found Jacques to be accommodating, friendly & had useful information for us about Bangkok. Due to the flooding in Bangkok at the time of our visit, Jacques was very helpful when emailing me, informing us about the situation there. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. Big bed too!...
