I've stayed at Vincent's on three separate occasions and have been very satisfied. The restaurant serves good food and the staff--including Vincent himself--was really helpful. Most of all, Vincent's has a cheerful, relaxing atmosphere which does a lot to remedy the chaos and heat of Bangkok. I'd stay there again. I will, in fact.

A friend recommended we make a visit. We are very pleased we did this for dinner on 23 April 2012. Delicious were the prawn fish cakes, soft shell crab curry, steamed sea bass and mixed vegetables and prawns. Vincent, the host was most charming and all in all it was a very enjoyable evening. Its easy to locate, just off... More

I have stayed at vincent's on numerous occasions and have found the place always friendly and homely. The food in the restaurant is not expensive and delicious. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the king size bed firm but comfortable. Vincent has recently been refurbishing some rooms. The rooms do not smell and there are wooden floor boards, so no... More

I'm not sure about the accommodation at Vincent's, it looks a little spartan on the website but most reviewers seem happy with it which is great to hear, and when you really think about it, it's good value and has all you need. My comments relate to the pleasant little restaurant downstairs. It's a really nice place, good value, with... More

Vincent's is not a hotel. I just stayed there for five nights, and what it felt like was staying at a friend's home. First floor is the restaurant - I didn't eat there so can't comment on it. Location - quiet at night, but not the most practical location for a tourist. At the end of the alley is the... More

A warm and friendly atmosphere that is close to the center on Bangkok. A gracious host in Mr. Vincent himself. His staff makes you stay memorable. Very clean and reasonably priced. The food in the restaurant gives you a great taste of both Western and Thai tastes. Good value for the money! Close to both the subway and sky train.

I can comment only on the restaurant at Vincent's as I have not stayed in the guest-house. Vincent's is easily overlooked in a very busy soi (street) about 10 minutes walk from the nearest Metro and more or less opposite the Pinnacle Hotel; but I have eaten here many times in recent years and can recommend the freshly-cooked Thai cuisine:... I wanted to travel more, so needed to cut down on my accommodation costs. When you are used to the style and services of a 4 or 5 star hotel, it can be a shock to the system when staying at a very nice guest house. After my 5 day stay, I would never stay anywhere else in Bangkok. Vincent... More

Vincent's is a nice surprise. Reasonably priced, comfortable and friendly. Rooms in the back are better. Furnishings, though simple, are really quite comfortable and everyone here generally has a smile to offer you. Bathrooms in some of the rooms are quite tiny and that may be the only real drawback. Vincent himself is always on hand to make your stay... More

The minute I walked in the joint, as the song goes, i was met with warm smiles, friendly helpful staff who were all most obliging. Although I was on my own, i was never on my own in Vincents because one or the other of the staff would come and speak to me, as we got to know each other... More
