We have paid for a Deluxe King Size Bed, the best in the hotel and more expensive, and this is the room they give to us.

Far from civilization, stinky, old.. but worth the cost of 26 USD... or maybe worth more... staff is great... very helpful... no extra charges for additional guests...

Lovely hotel near a pierre which makes it easy to get to tourist sights and around Bangkok yet further away from the night scene allowing for peaceful sleep. As the area is not too touristy it was sometimes difficult to find decent food but the staff are friendly and willing to help.

I can only imagine that they were re-modelling, but P&R bore no resemblance to the nice pictures on the website. Don't get me wrong, the rooms are clean, but they're basic and not really good value for the rate. If you have a low budget and a busy schedule for Bangkok sight seeing, this is gonna be your thing. 2 mins to the Si Phraya Pier where you can take the express boat or tourist boat to nearly most of the attractions in Bangkok, nothing easier than that after trying the taxi and even bus and BTS or MTR.... We enjoyed the location of this hotel as it is near to the river and just a few minutes walk to the Si Phraya Pier where it is easy to take a ferry to the main attractions and the SkyTrain. Stayed at this hotel for two nights. Located in enviable position, only 2 mins from river express landing. Able to get everywhere wanted very quickly and cheaply. Nice clean, modern rooms with cable tv, air conditioning, granite bathroom countertops, free wifi. Comfortable modern beds. Very helpful and friendly english-speaking staff. Relatively quiet location, although construction during the day is noisy. Taxi driver had trouble finding the place; just tell them to take you to Sheraton Orchid Hotel, which is next door.
