Good hotel/apartment. Personnel need to speak better English. Located very far from the center (downtown) of Bangkok. Some sites like hotelcombend.com speak about location 2.1 km from centre. But this is not true. You need to take taxi or other to reach downtown. This hotel was supposed to pick us up for 900 Baht at the airport. We were exhausted... More

This Place is really great. It's not that far from the city, but it's really really quiet and I felt very safe at this place. But the best are the rooms and the service. Just when you arrive, you feel like at home. The rooms are huge and clean. They look better than on the pictures in the internet. I... More

Wow... this place is amazing... especially for the price!! As backpackers, we booked this place off hostelworld and were not expecting much seeing as we only payed aroun £8 a night or something like that! We initially booked to stay at Sivalai Place for 4 days, before moving on to Chiang Mai and the Thai islands. We actually ended up... More

Let me start with the downside. Hard to find! Even for the taxi drivers. That being said, Sivalai Place is a gem. The room was spacious and clean, The staff is a joy to work with, and they will be happy to help you with anything you need, from the owner on down. Bam was fantastic! Don't expect them to... More

If you are wanting to get away from the crowds, loud party areas, and pushy sellers of all sorts then this is the place for you. It's situated in a nice, quiet local neighborhood. I felt more like a local than a tourist (or walking money sign) in the area, the people were so friendly and laid back. We had... More

Really enjoyed our 2 days here. They really pay attention to the details to make sure you’re happy and comfortable. Can’t say enough good things about it. We stayed in the 1 bedroom apt. The bed was super comfortable. The furniture and even the doors themselves were really beautiful. Everything is new and sparkling. The shower had special adjustable 8... More

I absolutely loved my time at Sivalai Place. Super-friendly approachable staff, great location, amazing amenities. The pool is just amazing. I don't quite know how to describe it, but due to the cleaning process they use (not chlorine or salt), the water feels almost 'fluffy'. I spent my mornings going downstairs early enough to catch the lady selling the Moo... More

Sivalai Place was amazing, definitely worth paying a little extra, it is still really cheap considering the size and quality of the room and all the added extras (Free wifi, huge swimming pool, tennis courts, nice common areas, and cheap food). The staff are really nice and welcoming. It is located away from the city centre but it's cheap and... More

I travelled to Bangkok with my partner & brother in Jan '12. I was extremely happy with Sivalai place and it's great staff. The rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped and the price is unbeatable. The bedrooms are very large with airconditioners in each. The bathrooms are clean with great showers. There is a fantastic pool that is honestly... More

A warm and friendly welcome. We were looking for a place to stay near where we have family living in Bangkok and found this on the net as one of the first choices for the area. Almost simultaneously it was recommended by our family so the deal was done. The location was absolutely perfect for our needs. We wanted a... More
