As far from the "resort" as it is from Andaman sea. Poor service, high prices, from the menu card are only few dishes actualy avaiable. Smelly and old. Will visit Bangkok in few days and will deffinitely stay somewhere else. Only consider if tide on budget and if you need to over night near the airport.

The Floral Shire "resort" is a small one-building hotel at the end of a downscale residential street in a neighborhood near the airport. It seems to be a converted apartment building. Good hotel, really close to the airport, nice staff, clean rooms, free shuttle service to the airport (hourly). website map not good and not easily findable at google maps. Still easy to find with a taxi at "lat kabang 42". Youll find it at the end of the street on the right.

This hotel is very inexpensive and close to the airport. Most guests seem to be staying there as an overnight stay before leaving on another flight out of Bangkok Airport. We paid 900 Bt for a standard room with ABF on 12Jan2012. Wi-fi in rooms had a really good speed for Thailand. The aircon was blowing directly onto the bed without the possibility to change the direction and was quite noisy, so we had to sleep without it. Quiet location in a back alley in bangkok. The room was big and clean and there was free wi-fi. My only complaints are that the shower drained really really slow (so you had to stand in ankle deep water if you were the second in the shower) and the shuttle bus from the airport took quite a while to arrive...
