We have stayed at the Howard Garden Suites in Taipei on 2 occasions and have been very happy there. The rooms are spacious with great amenities and very importantly - a comfortable bed. Some Asian hotels have very hard beds - be careful! The location is very central, only a few minutes walk to MRT or bus connections, and taxis... More

We spent two weeks in Taipei. Found this to be a very comfortable property for a long stay. There are many restaurants in the area, a small supermarket right next next, several ATMs within a block, and a very short walk to the MRT station. We had a small suite with a sitting area and bedroom. The layout was odd... More

Our suite was about 30 m2 with a small bedroom with a king size bed 2x2 m, a living room with a small kitchen line and a nice bathroom with a very good shower and nice soft bathtowels. However the water pressure at the sink is very poor and there is no space to put any toileteries. There is missing... More

It has been raining cats and dogs in Taipei, traffic was bad and we were late to get back to the hotel to check out (1pm). We know it's totally our fault and we even apologized several times before rushing back to our room to gather our luggages, but do you have to call, within minutes and asked impolitely when... More

Stayed 2 nights with family. Location is close to downtown and major department store. It's convenient to eat around and to go shopping. Room size is big enough. There is separate bathroom, living room and bedroom. Item in bathroom, like bath soap or shampoo, were quite good. Breakfast was complementary.

Stayed here for 3 nights for business. It is convenient to the light rail but not walking distance to any city attractions or major shopping areas. It is, however, only a short taxi ride away to most anything. The neighborhood seems safe. Rooms are not small but not very big either and they don't have a lot of natural light,... More

The hotel is nore like a one bedroom apartment than a hotel. It has a small lounge, kitchenette and study area. It was more spacious than a hotel room. The room was clean, with free internet and as I was working in the room most of my stay, the hotel served its purpose. It was great to have a huge... More

Rooms were good sized and had the kitchenette with a couple of bottles of complimentary water restocked every day. The restaurant only served breakfast, and it was a decent buffet, but it didn't start until 7AM, which was too late for me since I had to leave by 6:30AM. There are many restaurants close by and the subway station is... More

I was surprised as the limousine that picked me up from the airport stopped in front of the Howard Garden Suites. It did not look like a hotel front! There were no signs except for a small signboard over the entrance and I initially thought the driver had made a mistake. It's part of a residential apartment block with a... More
