I stayed in a double bed en-suite for 3 nights in March. Hotel room is as clean as others' comments. Common areas are lively and energetic. Great location as it's just 5 minutes walk from Zhongshan Station. I would definitely recommend to backpackers who want a "luxury" stay!

The location of the hostel was wonderful. There is a japanese massage place called Karada Factory along with a Thai massage place across the street. Very friendly and helpful staff with ready information. The rooms are basic but clean and cheery. I had a difficulty finding this hostel when I went to Taipei. Even cab drivers do not know where. However, the hostel is ideally located in a busy street about 15 minutes walk from the nearest train and bus station. There were lots of food stalls and restaurants near the hostel. This is one of the better hostels I've stayed in overseas. Good location near some cool shops/cafes, MRT & MOCA. Nice staff, nearly always somebody at reception.
