I like this hotel very much it has got two main buildings but both are with same standard, rooms are big and nice and you can really rest there after trekking or Pokhara sightseeing. Hotel also have two nice restaurant with very good meals. There's a small shop with souvenirs and you can easly buy some good maps and gifts... More

After a couple days in the mid-day heat of Pokhara I went in search of a hotel with a pool. Intending on just using the offered off-site guest use of the Bahari hotel pool, I was impressed by the grounds maintenance, pool side service and general professionalism of the staff. I booked a room for the remainder of my trip.... More

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days ,excellent location close to main street ,cleanliness seemed ok,pool was an added attraction, breakfast was pretty good with quite a variety ,decent for people looking for silence .Remember after 10:30pm only minimum food service in rooms so order carefully in advance. Good deal at such a price.

We stayed here, as a large group of 25 for three days after our trek. The hotel is mainly good. My room was good with a view of the fishtail mountain. I thought breakfast was good with a large spread. Service could be very slow, especially when trying for a second cup of coffee. Cleanliness was also okay, compared with... More

We had a great time at Hotel Barahi - so much so that we extended our stay and came back after our trek. The location was fantastic and allowed quick access to the lake, restaurants and bars, while simultaneously providing peace and quiet from the main strip. We spent our evenings enjoying drinks on our balcony with a view of... More

It was our 39th wedding anniversary when we were at Hotel Barahi, and the chief lady in reception, Purnima Shrestha, arranged an upgrade to room 604 with glorious mountain views from the balcony. On the day, she presented us with a fantastic cake, cookies and a bowl of fruit to celebrate! This was totally unexpected and due to her kindness.... More

I need to preface this review by telling you that we had just come off a 17 day trek, a trek that we weren't ready for ending- we wanted to keep going but you dont know that when you make your original plans and we had planned to finish our trek in Jomsom and fly to Pokhara. So, my review... More

We stayed here a few days before our trekking. The hotel is fairly good, but the rooms our small group got were very different: some of them good sized and with mountain view, some other smaller, dark and quite old. Breakfast was ok, service very slow (like elsewhere in Nepal), cleanliness just average. The location is central but the surroundings... More

We Spent one night in the Hotel Barahi. The hotel is in a great location in Lakeside and is clean and tidy. The pool area is fairly nice. Rooms are older style (like a most in Nepal from what we saw), but were clean, good sized and had everything you needed. Good, basic, clean and well located Hotel.
