What can you say about the Fishtail...secluded, private, wonderful, sublime...and oh the views! If you are staying in Pokhara for night...stay here. I was here recently as part of The Global Scavenger Hunt travel expedition...what a place to see the mountains and begin a trek. Borrow a bike for late night bar hopping...

One of the best properties I have ever seen. A nice property overlooking the Fewa lake and Annapurna Range of mountains with the Fishtail like peak. The resort can be reached by crossing Fewa lake. Nice cosy rooms, good service and a nice food, Entire Pokhra Experience was one of the best we had in our entire Nepal tour. The... More

Fishtail Lodge has so much going for it. The location on the South end of lake Phewa Tai and separated from the busy Lake shore by a small boat crossing is a real advantage. The gardens are immaculate and plethora of colour, The main restaurants of Lake side are only a ten minuits walk away. However the hotel is living... More

we spent two nights here at the end of our trek. It was a 50th birthday treat for my wife. We were looking forward to our stay there but we were very dissapointed from the minute we arrived. The reception staff were rude and unwelcoming. The porters refused to leave our room until they had a tip. The hotel is... More

Fishtail Lodge has a prime location at the southern end of the Phewa Tal Lake, you get the feeling of seclusion although you are only 15 minutes walk from the main Lakeside strip. It has definitely seen better days, however it is still very comfortable and better than any of the other places we saw in Pokhara. It has a... More

We spent three nights here as part of a holiday in Nepal and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The main advantage of the hotel is its position looking onto the mountains across the Lake. Our room - 19 - was particularly well positioned for this. The Hotel is however close to the Lakeside Restaurants and shops bringing it into the community... More

Set in stunning surroundings with wonderful views of the Annapurna range and Holy Mountain, this hotel is trading on what is outside including the delightful gardens. In addition the hotel is blessed with the most fabulous staff that are a great credit to them. I have never encountered better staff anywhere I’ve stayed so very well done! The food is... More

This hotel is set in lovely corner of the lake, and has a nice garden with tropical plants. Rooms are ok and service could be improved.
